JUNIOR CRICKET
Junior cricket is the backbone of our club. Total junior participants per season across all club squads averages 150 over the last three years.

All Stars Cricket
All Stars Cricket is an ECB initiative providing a fantastic first experience for all children aged 5-8 years old where they’re guaranteed 8 weeks of jam-packed fun, activity and skills development. The programme is designed to introduce children to the sport, teaching them new skills, helping them make new friends and have a great time doing so. Learn more about All Stars here.

All Stars Cricket is a great stepping stone to full junior cricket, with many participants transitioning to the R66t Academy.

R66t Academy
The Root Academy is the entrance to our Junior Section, running every Friday evening through the summer. We regularly have over 100 6-11 year olds attending.

Teams
We field twelve Junior teams in all, from U9 through to U18, competing in the Ben Jessop Sheffield Junior League as well as in regional and national junior competitions.
