After a weather interrupted start to the season at all levels, we head into the weekend with our 1st team, 2nd team, 5th team, Women’s 1st team and our Sunday team having played just one game each. Our 3rd, 4th and Midweek teams are yet to take the field.

The forecast looks better for the remainder of the week which means that our Root Academy kicks off a cricket filled weekend on Friday from 6pm with training for our U9s & U11s from 6pm- parents can sit back and relax enjoying the food and beverages in ' The Dale Bar' which is now being run by our former 5th team captain and colleague Ben Shaw and his team.

On Saturday our 2nd and 3rd teams will be playing at home to Wath CC 1st team and Bradfield CC 1st team respectively.

The 2nd team start on the bottom pitch at 12 midday with the 3rd team starting at 1p.m on the top pitch.

On Sunday, our Women’s 1st team host Wrenthorpe CC and Rockingham CC on the top pitch in the Yorkshire Women and Girls Cricket League 100 tournament starting at 10.30a.m.

Following an impressive 109 run victory over Pudsey St Lawrence of the Bradford League away last Sunday, our 1st team entertain Norton CC, Durham, in the National Knockout on the bottom pitch with a 1pm start.

It would be great to see as many of you as possible down at the club supporting our teams over the weekend.
