With 3 games still to play in South Yorkshire division 4, the 3rd XI sit top of pile, needing just 7 points to secure a speedy return to where they should have been playing this season!
With 7 points for a full win, it could be done and sealed this weekend. This will be the final home game at Abbeydale, playing on the top pitch (i'm as disappointed as most), but if anyone is prepared to walk the extra 200 yards up the drive, all support would be welcome to help encourage the team to promotion back to Division 3.
The game starts at 12.30pm, all supporters welcome...more the merrier!

Current batting averages in the Yorkshire and Derbyshire League across all five divisions are topped by Ben with 535 runs at 76.43.
A tremendous effort by Ben Rooke in recent weeks has propelled the 4ths to a possible promotion slot if Bakewell fail to gain maximum points next Saturday. His last four ininngs were 65, 78*, 93* and 95*.
