Here are the SCCC 2nd team averages for 2004rn

Indoor nets start 27 January 2005 at Birkdale.

U13 5.30 - 6.30.
U15 6.30 - 7.30.
Adults 7.30 - 9.00.

Light coloured soles please. Maybe the lighting will be better this year?

I've been TEMPORARILY asked to captain (i'm getting used to this) a footie side for 2 matches against the mighty De La Salle (Away).

Upper Haugh Cricket Club were relegated in 2004 into SY2 where out 3rds play. The attached story though suggests the membership of division 2 for 2005 is far from clear......

The 2nds'season drew to a close in a very damp manner at Norton Oaks.

We arrived there to find the ground in a complete mess. The covers hadn't been on all week and the (now sacked) groundsman had apparently put the square 'to bed' for the winter. The wicket ends had been dug up and there was no chance of play.

So, it was off to Champs for a very long and very messy Leo Sayer!

A disappointing season, yes, but one in which we have had a lot of fun and even more laughs. Thanks to all who turned out for us and I'll see you at the dinner.

The Yorkshire League Cup that we won last year needs returning but it has gone missing.
It is believed that the Trophy may have been given to somebody at last season's end of season dinner to cover for an award for which there was no trophy.
Could all winners please check their trophies to see if anybody has it, or if anyone knows of its whereabouts please let Crofty know or post here.

Here are the teams for the weekend of 18-19 Sep 2004 - last weekend before endless weekends of gate painting and skirting board wiping

Sealy reflects upon a successful season for the Yorkshire Derbyshire Div 1 side who achieved an excellent 4th place.

SCCC 3rds 183-8 (Simmo M 70 odd, Shaka 52), Treeton 2nds 93 (Lobber 4-19, Davey 5-6). 7 points and mid-table obscurity achieved.

It vexes me greatly having to do this report but here goes.....
