The u/15's, after having two matches rained off and another postponed, finally kicked-off their season and took out their frustration on Aston Hall.
Batting first, a great opening partnership between Joe Root and Ben Fielding ensured that we set them an enormous target of 153. Joe contributing an elegant, unbeaten 75 and Ben playing the perfect foil 34. Aston Hall didn't help their cause with the extras totalling over 40!
They never looked like coming close thanks to excellent bowling and fielding. Adam Talbot the pick of the bowlers with 4/3 including a sensational hat-trick.
A brilliant start to the season!
