SCCC 63 , Treeton 64-1. Oh dear....Put into bat at Treeton, we slumped to 15 for 4 before myself (17) and Simmo, M (10?) steadied the ship somewhat. However when we departed the lower order crumbled and we were all out for 63 at 2.10pm. Pretty dismal to say the least especially as more or less the same order had racked up 200 against Wickersley the week before.
Their openers set about our attack with distain, being particularly brutal to the Waif who was deposited well into the next village. They knocked them off for the loss of one wicket (which was a run out) and the game finished at 3.10pm.
A particularly poor performance by all concerned. The only bright spot was the defeat of Thorncliffe by Pheonix which guarantee's our place in the top flight for another season. On this performance, team's will hardly be quaking in their boots!
