As there has been sufficient interest in the tour to suggest that we will have more than enough players (and indeed spectators) for both games (with Hespey busy organising the one on Friday 8th August), it now comes to the difficult bit- asking people to part with their cash.

As the hotel will only be used for breakfast and a maximum of 4 hours' kip each night I trust that nobody will object to staying at the Travelodge in Newcastle City Centre. It costs £65 per night for a double room. If you wish me to book a room for you in this hotel I require a cheque for £65 before I'm prepared to put my wad up front. It's time to see who is all mouth and no trousers!

People can arrange their own accommodation if so desired but will doubtless miss out on that Olympic Village camaraderie. Everyone can attend so please let me know asap.

I intend to book the hotel on 12th June. As I am away for the next 2 weekends please hand cheques to Stewie or The Waif during my absence.
