The midweek massive stroll on towards the title with 7 brave men and Billy and four late arrivals. Civil Service 116-9 SCMWM 117-1 Jim (Two Lives) Tasker 74*A rather blustery evening at the Dale saw seven and 12theres Billy take the field. Later arrivals were SIR (forgiven) FILTH KIWI and LORD who all made excuses about the traffic.

Angry started off down the hill gamely with the radar missing for the the first four balls and byes/wides were the order of the day. Filth then took the field for Daveys next over and he got spanked. Angry decided to follow suit and between them they bowled 5 terrible wicketless overs.

The enterage then arrived and the captain had had enough and turned to the dogs dinners. Enter Jack with a magical spell from the net end turning the ball square. A run out from the Kiwi from the pressure of pinpoint turning half volleys.

Jack then bowled one off pads bats and allsorts. The new gloved keeper clattered one on the floor. It was bedlum!

Enter the calm of Gandolf and the wizard got to work. Tight effortless gile. Jack struck again with the arm ball. THe legend then held the R15 grenade back that 30 seconds longer and six foot higher. Four shots later and the ball hurtled into the off pole superb.

Sir had a trundle to replace Jack and yorked one. Before Lord completed the 15 overs in fine style. Filth ordered to catch one. The iron gloves stumped one. Jim decided to catch one 3 wickets and it could have been four had Angry decided to move 5 yards to his left instead of letting sir run 45 yards, cost us two runs Lords figures ruined 3-5 instead of 4-3.

So to the reply and after last weeks barracking for slow play the stand in dropped himself to 4 and let Jim and the Kiwi open. They batted like it was a mine field against the varied attack of the CS. Jim clothed one straight to square leg dolly on 0. Kiwi top edged one and out. Filth joined brother and some serios rude cricket ensued.

Jim then smashed in to the chimes off the opposition keeper saying Expensive **** drop"

Filth departed with 11 to get. THe captain lent on his bat as Jim went 4 6 1 tara lad!

Another entertaining evening! Easy this captaining lark with 9 good men and Filth!"
