I thought you might like to know that once you have logged in, you can customise the appearance and features of the site to suit yourself. Here's how...If you aren't logged in, then log in.

On the main menu (top left), select the "Your account".

You will see some details about you. Experiment with the "Edit Your Info | Edit The Homepage | Comment Options | Change the Theme" items. For instance, you will have noticed that some stories carry comments - you can configure the site so that they are all displayed at once in whatever order you specify.

You can use "Edit your info" to describe yourself. The effect is that when another user clicks on your name wherever you submitted an article or a comment, then your description will appear to that user. I can't wait to see Charlie's self-description.

The "theme" item changes colour schemes and some aspects of the page layouts.

The changes are "cookie driven" - which means that as long as you use the same computer, the changes you make will stick. If you use a second computer, you'll have to make changes on that computer as well.
