Weather and 25 points over Zingari give 4ths 15 points lead in league

Zingari 46 all out (Angry 3-8, Shabby 2-3), SCCC 4ths 47-0 (Shabby 35*), 25 points.

Another day another fixture bloodbath caused by weather, but we played and completed a 25-pointer about 5 minutes before the heavens opened. Lobber won toss and we inserted Zingari. Angry bowled 2 in the first over but failed with the hat trick delivery but 2-2 was never a start from which an incomplete Zingari would recover. Lobber stiff from last week so replaced himself with Eddy who was quicker and unlucky not to get a wicket with a clear edged caught behind. This resulted in some jovial banter. All out 46. Excellent result but there were 4 drop catches in that. The pitch was fine.

Deferred tea, fortunately and it took 10 overs to knock them off. Start raining during tea interval but we had our 25. Good to see Parrsie, who umpired for his tea. Which was a good tea, again. Maybe a little cream with the scones please?
