The AGM for Sheffield Collegiate Cricket Club will take place at 6.30pm on Wednesday 5 December at Abbeydale Sports Club in the main function room & all members are welcome.
The AGM is expected to close around 7:30pm following which supper will be served. If you wish to have a supper, please contact me or reply to this post so that I can advise the Sports Club of the numbers attending. The meal will be a very reasonable £10.00 per head.
Once again Sue Rathbone has kindly agreed to organize the annual Race Night for a further year which will be held Thursday 21st February at Baldwins Omega. The event has been a fantastic fund raiser for the club over the years & Sue is in desperate need of sponsors for the event so please contact Sue if you are able to offer sponsorship or know of someone who can.
At the AGM the Management Committee will propose the officials and captains for the 2007 season:
A summary of the accounts for the year ended 30 September 2007 and the Minutes of last year’s AGM will be available at the meeting. It will be proposed that annual subscriptions are frozen but that match fees are increased and junior subscriptions restructured. Any outstanding debts should be settled in advance of the AGM. The membership of any outstanding debtors at that time of the AGM will be suspended and they will not be entitled to vote.
As always, as the club grows more & varied resource is required to run & manage its operations. Anyone willing to volunteer (particularly for the secretary’s job!) should let a member of the committee know.
Club ties, at a cost of £20 will again be available on the evening of the AGM as will the books to celebrate the 125th & 100th anniversaries of the club at a cost of £10.
