Collegaite Under 15 blue win Sheaf sports Under 15 league

In a game interrupted by a heavy shower and often playing in a steady drizzle at Stocksbridge , collegiate won by 100 runs to win there 2nd trophy of the season .
Batting first on a slow wicket openers Matt Lee and J ames Harrison scored steadily and where not troubled by the hosts bowling: several probabul 4s being slowed to 2s by the wet outfield.

Collegiate blue under 15's triumph in Treeton six aside competition

After a routine win over Maltby in the morning collegaite travelled to Treeton to play in the 6's. The manager going via Abbeydale to collect Tom Hancock exhausted after a weekend on the Duke of Edingburgh award scheme.
Our group was made up with Whiston, Shiregreen and sheffield united. We started against Whiston and some familiar faces from the district nets were on view. We started with James Harrison left out of the squad of seven.

Sheffield Collegiate 144-6 (Pickford 27, Mines 26)
Maltby 38all out 10overs (Mines 3-15)

Collegiate went into this match as strong favourites having bowled Maltby for 32 last time. The blues opened with Callis and James Harrison. They started well hitting 4s on a long boundry. Callis was looking good until he hit a full toss straight to deep backward square(12). In came chris Pickford who played his normall confident style from ball one. Harrison was playing the more ancor role and was doing a very good job until missing a straight one (20). 60-2. Chris then got going and

15s have the blues

Collegiate under 15 blue recorded their 4th successive victory away at Treeton on Sunday.Apart from the away match at Norton Oakes the team has not being tested yet. The main batsmen have dominated the opposition to such an extent that we have been able to give several players a bowl who would not normally .Matt Lee, Tom Hancock, Chris Pickford, and Elliot Callis have all made good scores and James Harrison who has moved up from the under 13s, has scored well and looks a real prospect.
