Very little to comment upon except a very poor display from all concerned. Our batsmen cannot be excused for such a low total (102 all out) and our bowlers failed to find the breakthroughs we needed. Possibly the worst Team Performance with which I've been associated.

As seems to be the fashion these days, Shiregreen conceded their midweek game against us scheduled for tonight (20/6/2001). Clearly the threat of a pitch invasion and firecrackers from the four chaps who sit in the rugby stand was a worry, so rather than go to the trouble of hiring extra stewards and police the game has been conceded to us.
